Dude, where the hell is Soul Coughing? They had some of the creamy-est bass lines in all of the 90's.

Pearl Jam - Ten (belongs in the top 30 of all time records IMO)

Soundgarden - Ultramega OK and Louder Than Love (heavy heavy heavy stuff)

Red Hot Chili Peppers - not a 90's band. All the best stuff was 89 or earlier. BSSM was good in 91, but it's last thing that was.

Alice in Chains - Facelift

Porcupine Tree - In Absentia (again - not a 90's record, but my favorite of the bunch).

I thought the 90's were one of the weakest eras of music and it's not getting any better. None of your other listed bands make my cut, so they aren't listed in my rankings. Honestly, Dave Matthews could NEVER be heard from again, and I would be fine.

The Beatles - side 2 Abbey Road (Greatest concept and recording ever), everything else by them is a close second.

Jimi Hendrix - Axis: Bold as Love (brilliant)

Cream - Disraeli Gears, Wheels of Fire

Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon. Gilmour may be my all-time favorite guitar player. His playing just ooozes style and emotion. Only Jeff Beck is close.

Led Zeppelin - Houses of the Holy
