Im watching the Live After Death DVD right now, and he is just amazing. How he plays so fast and accuratly finger style without anchoring his thumb or anything is just un f-ing real
His technique and endurance is truely just unmatched and unrivaled.
AMAZING player

Alex | Was this sarcasm? You can hear the glorious clank through the mix on most Maiden recordings! That kind of clank with those thick flats requires some wicked force!!! |

I thought this was the most obvious explanation. All joking aside, Harris is the man and Maiden still rules, even after all these years.

I've spent the better part of the last 3 years learning their music - I get a lot of compliments at gigs (as does the rest of my band - we're very serious about it) and TBH, I'm still not certain how he does it! He's a freak - he plays the way he does because it is natural for him to do so. The combination of his bass, flat wounds, his amps, his fingers and his general being are how he does whatever it is he does, while the rest of us Maiden fans try to figure it all out. He's awesome!
