Infectious Grooves and what Rob plays with metallica now and thinking it's the same bassist.

I heard that Lars Ulrich doesn't even have bass in his monitors. If that's true, that says a lot. Hell they should just quit pretending and hire a 3rd guitarist with a 7-string and chuck the bassist altogether.

Sorry to answer old questions, but yes, Trujillo played for both Suicidal Tendencies and Infectious Grooves at the same time, and yes, it's unbelievable that it's the same guy. I feel like his sound with Suicidal was an adaptation of how Flea played on early RHCP albums (punk music with a slap bass line that somehow worked really well) and that the dude from Rage adapted Rob's style to their music.
