Question refused bassist - tone equipment

Sign in to disble this ad
well, i'm curious if anyone knows what the bassist for the refused uses. as for names....they have changed quite a bit but the tone/equipment i'm kind of looking for is directed towards the time period of their " the shape of punk to come" period. in the live dvd "refused are ****ing dead" he uses a stringray (pretty definitive sound for him - the tone can be heard on that particular album), ampeg 8x10, and a marshall head. i'm not too sure if the marshall head is one of those mb series or like a jcm 800 (is that even possible to use an all tube high power guitar head for bass?).

More like nobody has any idea what kind of equipment they used. Refused is great, but I just don't have any insider information, and never got the chance to see them live.

The album itself sounds extremely P bass-ish to me, also keep in mind that they were without a "proper" bass player at the time as their old bass player quit, as far I know, a bunch of different people played bass on The Shape of... Not sure what bass(es) the guy who toured with them used.
