Reggie Washington ????

I was watching the Oteil Bass Day vid last night and saw him playing, but i cant find any info on him....


Does anybody know anything about him?

M-Base cat out of NYC, with a very east coast groove. I have a ton of great recordings with him on it. Steve Coleman, Cassandra Wilson, Roy Hardgrove etc. I recenty got a live trio album by a guitar player named OZ that has some killer Reggie grooves as well. Highly recommended!!!!

A great record with Reggie on it is "Curves of Life" by Steve Coleman and Five Elements. It's pretty out, but I think it's great. If I remember correctly, Gene Lake is on drums, Any Mline (sp) piano, David Murray and Coleman on saxophone, as well as Black Thought....its a great album.
