Yep, very sad situation. He went very quickly.
Jerry Solomon and I were in touch and had some discussions about dealing with cancer treatment and survival earlier this year (Feb/March). He seemed to be doing well at first, then he just dropped off the radar. I got the note about his death, from his daughter last week.
it's a nice idea to remember our fellow bassplayers who have passed on.
