No bass playing for me this weekend but i am doing sound friday at knuckleheads in new bedford for my old drummer's band. Kinda like running sound for a change of pace, but cant wait to start playing again!!

Sunday will be a rare Rizzz gathering at The Met, 4:00-8:00. What will make it unique will be 9 members, with 2 drummers, 2 horns, 2 keys, 2 guitars and 1 lonely bassman, that would be me. Should be a gas....

Using my zoom hd16 16 track recorder. Doing drums at jamstage before the other bands show up and make noise..bass at home and vocals/guitar at robin's house. Fun filled weekend!

Quick question for everyone, where do you guys take your basses to get set-up and repaired? My first bass (the natural finish Squier VM Jazz Bass) has had a weird electronic issue for the past year and no one knows what could be wrong with it. Basically, no sound, even with all the knobs on 10. I took it to a local tech and he tested the pots and they were working. There's also a forest of wires under the control plate and I don't know where they're all connected to. Does anyone know what the issue could be? Any help would be GREAT! I miss my old bass and would love to use it with my new band. Thanks everyone!
