When working at the harborside you can't be over 74dba....across the street on the corner...strictly enforced!

Plus at the harborside motorcycles are not allowed to leave exiting to the right, they all must leave to the left so they don't go up the steep hill to post rd..

May I join in? Relatively new to bass but born and raised in Coventry. Not sure if I should be a proud Rhode Islander considering how the place is going lately but there's way more activity here than I would've expected, so why not?

Oh yeah, I'm Mike. I'm a Masshole, but I play in predominantly RI bands ATM: Soul Ambition and (((((The Repercussions))))). (Maybe I can be an honorary club member?!)
Not to be rude, but is Soul Ambition the group with a singer who's very active and has a funky wardrobe? My mother and I caught a group on public access in a TV studio or something, they were a funky group and the singer alone was fun to watch. I think they were based more in NY or Boston, but the name sounds right.

And my last edit, hopefully - anyone friendly with or know of a guy named Mark Anderson? He taught me a few jazz guitar lessons at the Guitar Studio in Coventry a few years back, run by Matt Kearns. I think he was from Attleboro and was into 7 or 8-string, pretty confident he was a solid bass player. Just curious as he was a great musician and I may be looking into lessons again soon.

LH1000 Head and a HX410 Cab. I figured I pawned enough of them on you guys..

Alo going to be running a pedalboard with a Hardwire Overdrive, Hardwire Tuner, and a Micropog.

Now I'm just chomping at the bit for the stack to come in. In the meantime I'm gonna try using a K12 as an amp with the Hardwire Tube Overdrive as a preamp.

Niiiiiiiiiice! I'm so happy with mine man... I just recorded my band Friday and Judy loved the tone I was able to get with very minimal effects. My hx410 is a trooper ... The thing takes a beating that's for sure. But the recording from the DI was BUTTA!!

Have to checkout the link tonight. Isnt funny too how you use it for dance/hip hop covers and i am doing 70-80's rock, motown and old school funk! The rig covers it all.

Absolutely! I have the bass at 1 o'clock, mid at 12 and treble at 1. Brite and limiter on. I run it though a sonic maximizer with the lo-contour at 1 and the process at 1.

I use it for hip hop and country lol!

If you're giving them out, sure. North Providence? Man, you guys have had a couple of gems representing you in the last few years. Mayor Lombardi (sp) seems like a good guy though.
