She definitely looks like she's having a good time. On a side note, I really wish Jeff would lose the bicep-bracelet, it makes me cringe every time I see it.

..where's the 100 dollar bridge, hahaha....

....and she looks like she got a normal ol' fender bridge on her Jazz.....wow, how can she get that great tone without a $100 bridge. I think that say it all about the whole bridge replacement controversy.

She's excellent!!

I sure wish I could catch Jeff Berlin when he comes to St. Louis this summer. I know she was slammin'. As for her Fender and it's bridge. Why wouldn't it sound great?

Let me be unprofessional and say Rhonda looks great!

Just a heads up - they're coming to the MGM Grand at Foxwoods on June 4. Only mezzanine seats are available, but it's a bargain at $25. When I saw Stevie Wonder there last year, the same sections were $100.

Very cool pics! She does look like she's having a lot of fun up there. And she looks good, too!

Since I brought up physical appearance, I wish Jeff Beck would stop dyeing his hair. The man is well into his sixties, and his face shows it. I just wish he would rock what I am sure is a lot of gray hair. I think it is cool to see visibly older people getting down!

I don't bother to keep current of FMIC's instruments any more (no dealer closer than 50 miles away, and no GAS), but the red one's definitely a different version of the American Deluxe than the 'burst in post #16. Different pickups (or at least different covers), and the bridge on the red one's looks to be a heavier one too.

So, how'd the show sound? I love it that she looks like she's having so much fun! Jeff Beck is probably the most inspiring guitarist still playing that I know of.

John

The more I hear of these live shows, the more I'm missing Tal. For all of Rhonda's chops and slapping and popping, there's something that Tal added - a spontaneous melodic interplay that is rare between guitarist and bass player - that seems to have decreased with Tal's absence.

Totally agree, although she's starting to show her age (nothing wrong with that, of course). I love this older picture from her:
