Has anyone out there in TB Land run across Dallas bassist Richard Bannister? He played in the Dallas band Uncle Rainbow in the 1970s.
Uncle Rainbow contained such notables as Larry Tagg and Brent Bourgeois (currently a CCM/Gospel Label Head) who later formed Bourgeois Tagg. Richard was a great bassist who played an early 1960s Jazz Bass and was one of the first bassists in Dallas (along with me and Phyrework bassist Gerald Calhoun) to purchase an Alembic bass.
I've totally lost touch with him over the years but if anyone knows his whereabouts please post or PM me and let me know.
