The trumpet player is the son of the tenor player in my group. His name is Tatum Greenblatt and he's out of the programs at the New School and Juilliard....

Ok, just had to fast-forward a bit to "Liberty City" - one of my all-time favorites. Mr. Greenblatt is outstanding...as is the 'bone player. What a band!

Excellent concert and excellent video quality! Bona is hands down one of my favorite bass palyer.

Here's an attempted translation of the text below the video:

Richard Bona is one of the most in-demand bassist. Born in a musical family, this child prodigy who built his own instruments also played the Balafon [Marimba or Xylophone] in public ceremonies as early as the age of 5. At 22 he relocated to Europe, attended a music school and played many Jazz clubs by night, which turned out to be his true [Jazz] education, after his first gigs in clubs back home. He got noticed by French scene’s big names: Jacques Higelin, Manu Dibango, Didier Lockwood, Mario Canonge, etc. In 1995 the threat of being an illegal [in France] led him to New York.

Then the fairy tale began. Musical director for Harry Belafonte, he later started collaborating with Chaka Kahn, Pat Metheny, Paul Simon, George Benson, Regina Carter, etc. Excellent singer, multi-instrumentalist and entertainer, he remains a reference in term of quality Jazz and world music.

Thanks for the heads up

For me, the link does not seem to work...
It obviously works for you guys...

Edit: link works just fine - I've been overly restrictive with what I let the flashplayer do.....
