Went and saw these guys last night. His bass playing/tone is perfect for what they do. Very simple, yet it compliments what is going on. I was extremely impressed. Any one else love this type of playing?

The tough job of any musician (imo) is trying to compliment what the song calls for. I don't care if you play like steve vai or tom petty...if you play the exact notes that fit for that exact song, then that's all that really matters.

First post! BTW, saw JEW in concert at the end of 07 in orlando House of Blues...they coheadlined with silverchair...

was an OMAZING show for both bands...but you can ask anyone that went...silverchair was just better.

I love Jimmy Eat World. The bass just drives the music. I'd love to see them live someday.
