So, I recently got Street Songs by Rick James, and when I first took a glimpse at the cover I was shocked - He's holding a rickenbacker!! I had no idea he was a bassplayer!
Any others fans around? And does anyone know if he even played his own basslines? He seems/seemed like more of a performer kind of guy to me. And I'd think it'd be pretty hard to sing over those basslines, considering how much coke and drinking he did!
Show some love for Rick James people !
