It was a great book, but it did feel at times, a bit 'listy' - big lists of names and gigs and dates and stuff, which to anyone thinking 'I've heard of this Jaco guy, let's see what he's all about' would be a bit bewildering.

And for people arguing about being the best or not the best or whatever, he was definitely the best of his era, and opened it up for everyone else to become better. He was also one of the greatest composers I've ever heard. There hasn't been much music that's moved me quite like Jaco's.
