RIP Michael Been of The Call

Michael Been, songwriter and bassist for the band The Call died today in Belgium.

This was a very underrated band, and their song "Let the Day Begin" is a classic everybody knows. Crank that song, and just try to not feel great.

RIP.

I have lots of Call albums and Michael's solo album. I'm a fan. Terrible to hear this.

I have their Into the Woods album, and I just love it! I'm late to knowing this, but my condolences for his passing.

Sad news. And yes, very underrated band, IMO.

Major bummer! He couldn't have been that old, very sad news.

He played on one of my favorite albums of all time, Bruce Cockburn's Nothing But A Burning Light - great fretless work all over that album.
