I remember him. That fact that he used bass guitar when everyone had gone keyboard stood out. Tyrone Brunson (The Smurf) was around then too.

I have no idea who he was, never heard any of his music, never even heard of his band...but 47 is just too young to die. Sad.

Sorry, I should have posted more information. He went by "Chilly B" with the band Newcleus. Some of it may sound a bit dated and technologically clunky now, but it was pretty forward-thinking for the day. (In a way, it is kind of soothing music, especially compared with some of the "thug" music out there today.)
