I got the news this morning that Teena past and my thoughts and prayers go out to her family.
She was 1st and foremost a Great Humanatarian as well as a great song writer,composer and musician and a DAMN good bass player and obviously brought the "Funk with the best of them ! Those in the know u know what I'm talking about. May she rest in peace.

Fire and Desire will forever live on...

I just learned of her passing moments ago from another forum. Age 54, of "natural causes" (?!?!?!) That is way too young.

I always liked her hit "Lovergirl".

...wow. We used to do "Lovergirl" & "Lover Boy" (a Billy Ocean tune from the same time frame) as a medley.
