Rob "The Baron" Miller of Amebix

Anyone out there like Rob? He's one of my favorite bass players and vocalists. He plays in the Crust Punk band Amebix. Also from what ive heard he makes swords for a living!

Seriously no one has listened to this guy. If you like Extreme genres of music, you owe it to yourself to listen to Amebix!

Yeah, Rob lives on the Isle of Skye or something and is a self-taught (and revered) swordsmith. I like that he can be heard and his tone is nice 'n' dirty, but never found him anything to write home about. Amebix is more about the band than it is the individual players, you know?

I get what your saying, ive always just loved his intros and tone. Also im guessing your a Coroner fan?

I just scored a 52-minute No More Color-era DVD-quality rip of them live in Holland.

Actually, it's him, the guitarist and Ray Mayorga on drums doing a special tour-- there's only a few US dates.
