This is the second time that I have watched The Grass Roots on one of those PBS fund raising specials, and the second time I noticed that it appears that Rob is either "faking" to a pre-recorded background or just playing the roots and letting a sequencer take the tough spots. Very noticeable during Midnight Confessions. While I wouldn't want to be the one playing that pumping line while singing, I expect more out of the "pros". Has anyone else noticed?

I wondered about that too.....it didn't seem like his fingers were moving as fast as the notes.
