Ok, iIdont want to start a thread, there are probabaly quite a few on here about the guy . . .

Anyway, I was at the Metallica show in Dublin on the 11/06/06 and they played the entire MOP album, start to finish, every last note . . .

It was probably one of the greatest moments of my life . .but you know what made it even more special . . .seeing/hearing "Orion" being performed live . . .I thought Rob's playing on that song was just incredible . . .I have heard it 1,000,000 times but to actually see being done live blew me away . .

Ok, i know most of you guys could probably play it too no doubt, but just thought i'd share the fact that seeing the actual band who wrote it play it live . . .was freaking amazing!!

They played a flawless gig, seemed well up for the show and played their asses off, best I have ever seen and I have been to 5 of their gigs!

Anyway, rambling over . . back to work!!

Now that I would have loved to see/hear. M.O.P. is their best stuff IMO.

Hey I was at that gig as well (thank God I didnt go to "GNR" there was murder at that gig and a few of my mates left half way through cos it was so crap).

In one weekend in Dublin we had Robbie Williams, GnR, Metallica and the Eagles...man we've come a long way...I remember the bad old days of the 70s and 80s where NO-ONE gigged in Ireland and U2 were plaing in a sh*T hole called McGonagles in Dublin.

I am gettin old

Bob Ohlsson, former Motown 'super' engineer.....the man responsible for THAT sound.
