I am WITH you. I was just listening to What is Hip this morning with my 12 year old son (who also plays bass) and he just was like, MAN this guy can GROOVE....

I'm currently doing a study on Rocco, and his playing, especially with David Garibaldi for my Thesis, theres soo much going on there, thank god somone put a bass in his hands instead of the guitar (he started off as a guitarist for thoughs who didn't know)

You're definately not alone.
Rocco is one of my favorites for sure.

I've recently gotten back into one of my Tower of Power phases and have been listening to him constantly for about two weeks straight now.

Rocco is one of my two absolute bass gods. He's a limited player (at least he mostly shows one style), but nobody can play his way like him, or as DEEP as him.
His playing inspires me, makes me want to move, and makes me feel good!
