Anyone know who played bass on the soundtrack of the Rocky Horror Picture Show? It's pretty nice playing.

He's called Dave Wintour, he also did the bass part on Steeler's Wheel's Stuck in the Middle With You. His line on Science Fiction/Double feature is awesome.

Thanks, the bass part to that song in particular is fantastic.

Someone asked who did the bass for RHPS a few weeks earlier, it took me like 10 minutes to find his name...

But I agree, the intro to Science Fiction/Double Feature is particularly awesome! I have seen the movie more times than I can remember, and listened to the soundtrack since I was 17....

I'd love to get my hands on some sheet music or at least tabs to a lot of the soundtrack!

I would hesitate to use the phrase "very good bassist" in any association with my name

I never really considered this before, but this is good stuff. The search now commences for the music.
