Roger Manganelli tone on GearBox/PodFarm?

Hey,
I'm a big Less Than Jake/Roger Manganelli fan, and I've always thought his bass tone was so rounded and punchy.

Here's a couple of vids that demonstrate his tone quite well:

My current gear theoretically should be able to replicate it somewhat.
I have a SBMM SUB Ray4 (in white if you were wondering )
And a Line 6 PodStudio UX1 with GearBox and PodFarm 2.5.

I know Roger plays a MM Sterling through Ampeg amps, so with just the built in amps, I should be able to copy it pretty accurately, but I can buy the "Bass Expansion" pack if needed.

Can any of you guys guide me in the right direction?
Thanks

I know he uses Ernie Ball Slinkys, and of course has a very agressive attack. Turn the treble up.
