i saw the Floyd in London in 1994 and thought they were fantastic.
Guy Pratt is the man as far as I am concerned. his rendition of "Hey You" is the dogs.
This will always remain my #2 gig of all time (It was just pipped to the post by the Eagles in Glasgow this year).
Dave Gilmour says that the Wall is a bit of a moan these days but i still enjoy it. In fact, I'm away to watch the movie now. |

More gear oriented question, do any super fans know what his bass of choice was and did he use Rotosound Jazz Flats? Music is great but I never gave much thought to Rogers particular gear. Thanks. |

Thanks. | You'll always see Roger playing an old black Fender Precision with a maple neck. I believe he uses Ashdown amplification. I personally think he gets great tone. |

Roger has three matching Black Fender Precision with maple neck (actually 3 Charvel necks with Fake Fender Decals) he uses Rotosound RS77LD Flatwound on 2 of his basses, and Rotosound swing bass RS66LD on the other bass.

| | | | FYI...Roy Harper sang "Have A Cigar" on the original album release.
As for Roger's strings...I remember awhile back seeing closeup pics and his strings had different coloured ball ends.
