Are the rumors true?

I read on this Forum that Tommy Shannon may have passed away, has this been confirmed? I play in a SRV tribute band called "Double Shot" and have had the honor of learning some of Tommy's bass lines, a true master in his genre. Please let me know if the rumors are true.

Some sick **** posted that Tommy had passed away on Austin Craigslist last week. Absolutely not true.

Phew. You had me worried! When he does die (hopefully never), do you think we should save his head like on Futurama?
