Rush 2008 Tour

Anybody else been keeping up on the 2008 tour schedule over at rushisaband.com?

No return to Minneapolis, but Milwaukee and Chicago are both close enough! If I can talk the wife into it, maybe a flight to Toronto to see them on their home turf...

I'm getting too old to camp out for tickets in most cases, but man, I will stay up all week if need be to get seats right in front of Geddy.

I had third row in front of Geddy's mic stand in Va. Beach this summer, it was definitely a bass clinic and the view of the drums was pretty good from that angle too. Looks like maybe Jacksonville and/or O-town next year!

I saw them last summer at the Tweeter Center in Mansfield, MA. Outstanding show, one of the best I've seen, and I've seen plenty. Went with my wife and two boys, we all had a blast! But we were in the nosebleed section so visibility was not too good. This time, I'm shelling out the cash to get as close to front row as I can.

I had a luxury box at the Minnesota show this past September, but this time I wanna see Geddy up close!!!

I thoguht the 2008 leg was all over seas. . . WOOT! here comes another Rush concert road trip!

Is this an extention of the Snakes and Arrows tour, ie. same setlist?

Looks like lots of dates in the states (even hitting Alaska!), plus a good number in South America.

It is an extension of the S&A tour, but rumor has it that there will be some setlist changes. It's also rumored that at least one show is being shot in IMAX.

I saw Rush in concert this October from a 12th row seat...absolutely incredible, the best live show I've ever been to!

I caught Dallas last year. This year, no need to travel. Back in New Orleans for the first time in over a decade on April 19!!!!!!

I'm already making my plans. I took my 11-year-old to see Tool last year. This year, Rush!

It's too bad I don't live in Denver anymore. Seeing them at Red Rocks would be killer. But I don't think I can be there in June.

I went with a group of my buddies to see Rush last August ('07) in Concord. It was one of the best shows I've ever seen. According to one of my friends teachers (who also went with a large group of teachers) who has seen Rush some 19 times said it was the best show he'd ever seen... or remembered

Thinking about seeing agian when they swing by Concord again.

Got an email from Rush.com about the preorder for the summer shows- and apparently Rush is releasing a double live album in April

i was on Dead tour w/ Rush for the 2007 leg... i'll probably only get maybe three shows in if i'm lucky, five or so if i stiff my landlord. i know there's new setlist spoilers but i am purposely avoiding any knowledge of facts/rumors. god bless those nerdling knuckleheads.

Rush is playing at PNC on July 12th, I must go... I won't be working that day (because it's a Saturday). I remember July 2, 2007 being depressed because Rush was playing at Jones Beach and I was working.
