I am sure this has been hashed before, but I saw them Sat night in Greensboro. One of the best shows I have ever seen going back to The Who in 1982! Highly recommend this tour! Geddy was on fire! Of the 3 times I have seen them, this was simply the best!

Saw them last night in Nashville. Saw them in Atlanta on first leg of the tour as well. Concert was great, overall. Geddy's bass tone did not sound as good as Atlanta. Seemed high on the treble. There were a couple of mistakes- sampling timing went really bad for background vocals on one song. I don't think Geddy will keep singing "Time Stand Still." That really pushed him. Geddy kept switching out basses, more than I remember in Atlanta, and certainly more than I have ever seen him before. He had his black and white one, black with tortoise, red with pick guard and a sunburst. Like in Atlanta, Alex was just on fire. This really seems to be his tour.

During intermission I commented to people that Alex and Geddy must be fighting because Alex would not even look at Geddy. Kid next to me told me that during the show he had seen earlier, also in Atlanta, Alex did the same but started loosening up with Geddy during the second part. Sure enough, that happened last night.

"Camera Eye" was incredible! They really got into it. I hope they keep doing it in future tours.

Totally envious of you guys. I missed seeing them when they passed through Boston a year or so ago and now they're not coming anywhere within a day's drive of me on the final leg of the tour. Hopefully they'll put a new tour together again soon.

I was there, too! With Gard, and Greg from Rocket Music. Great show. Well worth the drive from Atlanta. First time I'd seen them indoors since 2002.

And I was at that one! Another great show. The outdoor shows sound better, although arenas really are their element.

Lots of people are saying this. I know every time I see them they are better than the time before. It really seems as though they get better and better with each tour. Rush is STILL on top of their game.

I was there too, and while the show was very good, Geddy's tone was the worst it's been at any of the shows I've seen. Maybe it gelled better where you were sitting.

I highly doubt that. Those two have been best friends since the dinosaurs went extinct. Likely something else. Sometimes Alex gets a bit lost into his playing.

Avoiding eye contact is more of a sign of the immense amount of trust and confidence they have in each others playing. Unlike us lot, who are constantly looking for visual cues etc. If I'd played with my current bandmates for that long a) I wouldn't want to look at them and b) I wouldn't need to. And I'm sure they shared the occasional mutual smile...

I remember being blown away by Meshuggah and noting that not only did they not drop a single note all night, they didn't look at each other once. At no point did I interpret that as some sort of sulk. I came away stunned at how in tune they must have been with each other to nail such complex music with such confidence.

Saw them Wednesday in Ft. Lauderdale, Geddy was great! His tone just sliced through the mix so well. His tone, IMO, almost sounded a bit scopped though with emphasis on the highs... it was weird, maybe I'm just imagining things. That was the second time I saw them on this tour.

Was at the Nashville show also... was my 30 anniv of seeing them live, and was by far the best sounding Rush show I've seen. +1 on Camera eye! The whole moving pictures set ws outstanding. The new stuff is great also... had a blast!

Also, I thought marathon was stellar.... the new videos are hilarilous. I thought Geddy sounded just fine- I cant get over how great it sounded overall

Several of my friends saw the show in Nashville last night (they all suck by the way!).

Once again, I missed my chance to see Rush. Dad wouldn't let me go back in 1987 for the Hold Your Fire tour. Said Rush was "pot smoking music". Well......what the hell is wrong with that??

I didn't smell anything at the venue. In Atlanta at the outdoor amphitheater I did, but nothing at the arena in Nashville.

Awesome. I've never seen them. What are a few good music stores to check out? I've been to Louisville hundreds of times, just never had time to check out any gear. I've been pointed to Mom's and Guitar Emporium. What are your thoughts?

I was at the Nashville show also. Rush rocked the house. This was my first time seeing them live. I figured it would be a little louder overall. Wasn't disappointed tho. Thought they could have turned up Geddy's bass a little in the FOH. His keyboard was noticeably louder from where I was sitting.
Only place I noticed any "unexplainable" smells was in the bathroom.
