Me and GEDDY LEE! at the meet and greet in Edmonton, on Tuesday.

What an AWESOME show! As some of you may or may not know, I got meet and greet passes to this show, which was unbelievable! I actually shook and put my arm around the man who inspired me to pick up the bass!!! AWESOME! It was very breif, but TOTALLY cool! (See signature)

The show was awesome. Because me and my mom know one of the security guys (because we met him in Houston, when we flew down there for my birthday) he got us much better seats in Edmonton than the ones we had. But then he decided to let us hang out at the barricade on Ged's side! I was leaning up against four huge speakers (must've been their subs, because it was all low end (I'd guess everything below 50Hz) Man, that was loud! Geddy would come over to that side of the stage and ROCK OUT RIGHT in front of me! I also got more used drumsticks, and a tee shirt from Geddy as well! What an AWESOME show!! Geddy was playing and singing in top notch, as well, which is also really wicked!

Yeah it was really wicked. And they were both really ice, even though it was REALLY brief (say hi, take a photo, thats it)

There were about 50 people who got a meet and greet pass and we all pilled in a room behind the stage. There were two of Rush's security guys there, Kevin (whom I met and got the meet and greet passes and better seats from, great guy!) and another one. Kevin told us to start from one end of the room because we were going to go in a circle, but then he realized he'd made some sort of mistake and told everyone to come to the other side of the room because it went in the opposite direction, but he let me and my mom stay where we were, so we could be first to meet them. He also told everyone to put away stuff that they wanted singed because they weren't signing anything (shame, cuase I brought my pickgaurd off of my Geddy Lee Jazz) Kevin leaves and the other security guy tells us that "Kevin's going to be they are going to be a little groggy when they come in because they just ate and they're going to be tired so make sure to make a lot of noise to wake 'em up!" Kevin come's back in, followed by big bad al, then GEDDY! Geddy comes over, stands RIGHT beside me (see pics below) I put my arm around him, realize that I HAVE to shake his hand, I tell him "man, I gotta shake your hand" he sticks out his hand, I take my arm off of him, shakehis hand, and alex is waiting for me to shake his hand (he already had his arm extended, and was smiling eagerly!) I go "ah yeah man! I gotta shake your hand!!!!!" I put my arm back around geddy (in a non gay fashion, btw) and the photographer goes "okay, after 3...one, two "*click* "oh, sorry, lets try that again "one..two..three..." *click* So I got two pics from that! They gave us an adress as we were walking out the door and afterme and my mom left the room I just kinda stood there in shock saying "oh my god, what just happened?!" and I screamed out "I got to meet the man that inspired me to play bass! that is SOO COOL!!!"
