You never see any pictures of him using the 12 string part, though. If I was lugging that monstrosity around, there would be a 12 string part in every song.

Great shots, most I've never seen. Wish I had gone to see them in the day (1970's) but I didn't discover them till Moving Pictures. Xanadu and Cygnus X-1 are still awesome songs.

I've seen Rush in concert about a dozen times, but my memory is a little fuzzy (gee, I can't imagine why). Someone help me out here:

Is "Xanadu" live the only time he uses that 12-string neck?

As far as I know, and I'd like to think I know about this......

Geddy used the 4080/12 for Xanadu and the 4080 for A Passage to Bangkok.

i have also heard tell that he played the 4080 during natural science at times during the mp tour, but i don't remember seeing it.

These are awesome pics! I didn't see my first Rush concert until 1982 (Signals tour) so the double necks were pretty much out of use by then. I have seen them nine times total and I don't remember ever seeing Geddy get the double neck Ric out.
