I saw my first RUSH concert last night, IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!

Unbelievably polished, no wasted time, perfect sound, lighting, multi-media cues. THE BEST ROCK AND ROLL SHOW I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!
They played from 7:45 - 11:00 with one short intermission. After being a fan for 25 years I had pretty lofty expectations of thier live show, and they totally delivered! I'm dead tired, my ears still ring, I can't stop grinning!!!!

OK the obligatory gear review. Geddy played...
1. THE Geddy Lee jazz - most tunes
2. The Red Ged
3. A Jaco Pastorius Fretless
4. A Ric
5. No amps on stage - Rotiserrie Chicken Cookers - 3 of them.

I need a nap!

Great show, eh?

Did you notice, about 1/4 of the way through The Main Monkey Business, a guy wearing a cheesehead came out and basted the chickens?

And the Ric during Bangkok, that's a shocker!

Still a great show.

So, as far as backline goes, he's switched from "full range" cabs to "free range"

My wife and I saw them in Cincinnati. 20 rows back, dead center. Incredible show. We didn't get a cheesehead. We had a fireman basting the chickens.

And yes the Ric was a nice surprise!!

Great show.
