I did not wire the effects loop on his DA120s because nothing really work in that effects loop except tube verb or tube delay. Worthless IMO then, better to run effects pre amp since he isnt about to use either.
In the Monolith (parts hiwatt dr103 and parts GT120) I will through that loop on it so I can use a tube verb unit in the future. |

But hey YMMV, and it should there should never be 1 delay pedal that makes everyone happy, that would be a monopoly. | I sort of went the opposite direction. I used to be all about having everything be the most flexible option, so I could use as few instruments, amps and pedals as possible for anything I wanted to do. Overtime I drifted towards just getting the best option for each use I wanted and having separate rigs for different tones/tastes/bands. It's a good way to justify buying a lot of sh*t too, coincidentally.

That's going to be paid off again later this year, so 2014 might bring another wave of custom built gear indulgence. Maybe, maybe not...depends what's going on at home when that happens. Right now I'm just buying with money from selling stuff I don't use/want anymore. I still have some gear in the "outgoing" box too, but not much.

And by feedback I meant delay time, but I got it. Ill try using delay more while playing riffs tonight, than just something that warbles and makes cosmic take and landing noises. My guitarist has my old CC, and for the intro of one of our songs me and him both go wild with them. |

I think he could really benefit from a delay...
I almost 86'ed my delay several times then I decided I had to find a decent setting for it. Took awhile to get it, but now it is the super awesome, analog decay that I love for adding some heavyness to my held notes.
And it is a freak, with my phaser and synth in the feedback loop.

And now hes added an old Big Muff he had back in CO. He even mentioned getting a wah at some point. Slowly but surely his pedal GAS grows.
I'm betting he breaks down when the Dunwich tour box makes its rounds and goes pedal crazy. |

But 8 string(second guitarist) has a Line 6 set up, which I don't like very much. We gotta get him tweaked out on that thing or something. It's tiring hearing meshuggah on our backline everytime we sludge out. haha

Is it the one with 3 stomp switches? I guess I'll have to look at the paperwork to see what it has.
I'm half and half with Black Pyramid. I either really like a song or really don't. | Their demos are kind of lame but trust me they make awesome stuff. I've owned digitech gear in the past and it was all junk. The helicon stuff is awesome quality and can be used for live stuff, unlike digitech.
Yea the processor that I bought is the three button one.
When i look at gear I of course check out sound quality. But the other thing that I look for is stuff that's simple. I don't have the patience or brain capacity to keep fiddling with buttons and what not. The voice live play was perfect for me

Seems like a pretty cool box with fun vocal effects... the harmonizer stuff sounds confusing to program or use though. The most I've done is backup vocals in a band but something to spice things up might be cool. The Mic Mechanic would probably be more up my alley... simple and to the point. Being able to do a distorted vocal sounds so fun though. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
