Mostly the issue being the custom wound toroid to meet 1U dimensions spec and still offer appropriate heater current for 2 tubes or what have you. Balanced out is also doable but money is required for the proper transformer. |

Just gotta wait until I can see first hand which pedal fits my needs. I'd be replacing the colossus, or the ODB-3, or both.
And then theres my Dunwich DOOMswitch, an a/b/c/d/y+DI in a wooden enclosure. Havent even ordered it yet and I can still barely wait. |

I have this mental image of opening it and bright light shooting out of it and blinding me, kind of like the case from pulp fiction. Then I'd just find out he rigged the box with a photo flash...
I just want to play so bad. Seriously, there's a room upstairs in my house that has a closet full of clothes ON TOP of my basses. Sounds bad, but honestly it's probably one of the safest places in the house right now. The room I have chosen for my practice is small, on the second floor, a mere few feet from the bathroom and bedroom. She thinks her stuff is going in there, but I am slowly taking over the room under her nose. She can have the rest of the house, just give me my sanctuary!
... oh btw I have a bluebeard now. Freaking amazing, love it. |

Yeah I have a tel ray PWF and the fuzz sucks something fierce. I use it in a loop with a wooly mammoth but then a have a $300 fuzz for a one trick pony. It would be nice if the fuzz in the wah sounded as good or better then the combo I'm using now to free up the WM. https://soundcloud.com/ampegfuzz/wah-fuzz |

Maybe. That one is a really crazy wah with the LDR and it runs the bulb around 60V i think. The fuzz could be made into something else. The only issue is that I am not sure how it could fit into it without redoing an entire board.

Strange, I still haven't heard anything from them, but mine is an international shipment so it might be just that... I read somewhere that the show had a couple of mistakes here and there but hopefully the sound quality will be good. Better than dopesmoker side D at least... |

I told the guitarist in this new band about the forthcoming preamp and his response was something along the lines of "That Dunwich dude is making it?! He posts on I<3FUZZ, his sh*t is awesome. You should have him make you a huge tube power amp to go with it".

A SS SVT preamp could have been done, that would have been like skips. An all op amp design. |

Think it would be worth it to make a 6x KT88 power amp or just make a NMV amp with a power amp in/preamp out?

Something like a 100W El34 amp isnt much effort to make it work as a full amp as compared to a slave head or just a power amp. |
