Any recommendations for Philly bands that could host a show for us? Checking with Backwoods Payback and Kingsnake. Can't think of any others at the moment.

Never heard of them and didn't listen to their stuff, but seriously - If I were in your shoes I'd be contacting Serpent Throne

hahaa. someone dubbed this stoner pop the other day. i'm not sure how i feel about that.

i play stereo rick w/ roundwounds on this track but it doesn't really stand out hugely. it's kind of my "other" band.

edit: wait did someone say that's not available in the US? oh man, i'm going to stab someone. here it is on bandcamp.

So Since my Yamaha is blown I need another cheap head?

We got a few options, what you guys think?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/330853317663...=p5197.c0.m619
Ends in a few hours and MIGHT not work, but is probably the best of the bunch, I love these old Peaveys

http://www.ebay.com/itm/321052235833...84.m1423.l2649
cool but only 50 watts

http://www.musicgoroundgreenfield.co...spx?id=1284014
Most expensive but local

Hey Laz, aren't you guys buddies with Swarm of Arrows (I thought someone was)? Serpent Throne and Wizard Eye are both from Philly too.

Having new people to jam with who are just getting into Stoner/Doom stuff and are already into gear is reinforcing all my latent GAS. When we were discussing the new preamp last night, that led into discussion of a huge tube power amp. Then that led into discussion of this thread and of having a really efficient bass cab for a huge power amp to push, which led to Dually talk. I think I feel my bank account cramping up.

I told the guitarist in this new band about the forthcoming preamp and his response was something along the lines of "That Dunwich dude is making it?! He posts on I<3FUZZ, his sh*t is awesome. You should have him make you a huge tube power amp to go with it".
Any idea what your guitarists handle is on ILF?
