Fast muted triplets? Cause that would be rad. Major respect right there.

My freezer just ****ing died! On hold with Lowe's customer service now. $100 or so worth of food in the shitter.

I like Young Widows! And I agree,I didn`t like their new album`s sound as much as their heavier sounding "Old Skin". But it`s not terrible, just took some getting used to.

I`m pretty much the opposite. I play 90% of the time with a pick. Growing up there were always a ton of picks laying around my house(coffee table, end tables, kitchen counter top, parents` nightstand) from my guitar playing dad. So when I finally decided that I wanted to play bass using a pick just felt like the normal thing to do.

The past few years I`ve been slowly using fingers a bit more.

My vote is ODB because then I could replace my crappy ODB with a good ODB.

But Salem drive is my second vote.

Hey guys, best 12 for my bass cab? I'm looking at Eminence delta 12LFA or delta 12LFC, and Sica SL12B3P. Sica is Jensen's high end line.

Not sure about Eminence's 12" kappalites...

Both the eminence are $100 per speaker & Sica are $200 per speaker.
The eminence are 500 watts per speaker, sica is 350 watts per speaker.
Price is important but so is tone & power.

This is hilarious:

Apparently someone submitted a petition to the us government requesting that construction of a death star be started by 2016. This is the government's response.

Almost as pretty as Dun's stuff.
I like that the bass amp is the "Steamroller."

Looks cool, though. And thanks gods, a boutique amp maker that doesn't have an unhealthy fixation with chicken-head knobs (putting them in good company with our own Dunwich).

Some weirdness going on with the cabs, but the amps are cool.

eyeball, nice ink!

I heart Young Widows!

it's all finger style for me! the biggest challenge for me was getting down quick, metal-souding 16th notes, but I gots it now! I actually like the sound of picks, I'm just way better at finger style.
