Went to see Hugh Cornwell last night not really expecting much (last saw the Stranglers in 1983!). And was really impressed with the bassist. Not doing anything flash, but incredibly tight with the drummer, and the sound seemed to get better and better through the gig, more and more like JJ Burnel. Didn't get her name, but definitely worth checking out. |
