with Alex DiGrassi and Jeff Titus.
WOW. What a beautiful trio of musicians.

All of them (and Jeff's 14 year old nephew Noah, who played a few tunes with them) just killed!

This was my first time seeing Michael live. What an amazing and innovative bass player. Seeing him use the Hyperbass, it (the detuners etc.) finally made sense. And his technique is pretty impeccable, and his creativity seems pretty boundless.

I have to fight the urge to score an ebow

I came home with Jeff Titus' CD "Wood Dragon" (well worth checking out) and Michael's "Soliloquy"

I agree. Michael is just incredible. He was kind enough to stop by our New England GTG and play for us for two hours. It is just an awe-inspiring jaw-dropping experience to see him play live and up-close.

Try playing a solo bass set right before him................I felt about 3 inches tall.

He is a great and supportive guy though, even with his eating us all alive he said how much he loved our playing and treated us as equals. A wonderful fellow!!!!

Oh yea he's pretty good on a bass too lol!!!!
