Saw the RHCP concert "broadcast" last night (Flea content)

Don't know if/when they're coming my way, or how much tix will cost, so I figured $15 a ticket was a good deal. For those who don't know, theaters across the country (world?) showed the Chilis' opening show in Germany last night in all its digital glory.

The image and sound quality were superb (YMMV, depending on theater). And the band was... well, it was the Chilis. Was surprised how short it was; they played every song from the new album, capped it with Give It Away, and that was it. Done and over in 90 minutes. I sure would have liked to see more stuff from BSSM and Stadium Arcadium...

A word on Flea: Giving that guy a live microphone is like giving a monkey a... well, maybe not a loaded gun, but certainly a can of spray paint. What a knucklehead.

Wasn't this on Fuse TV last night? I thought I caught part of it.

I've been a huge Peppers fan throughout the years. I think it might take me a while to get into this album, but then again, that's how I've felt about most everything I've heard recently...*cough*cough*cough...Kayne/Jay-Z.

I hope I can get into their new material.
