Might as well keep it going...

I wanna get some feedback about Geddy's work. Let's say you meet someone whose never heard of Geddy Lee and you wanna give them a crash course in his work. Pick 10 songs that you would recommend.

i'm a rush newbie but YYZ for sure. many would say that geddy does his best instrument work when he's not singing.

Leave That Thing Alone (Counterparts)
YYZ (Although I am sick of hearing it now)
Anything live

Geddy just has a way of playing a part that fits their style which is unique to say the least. I do not think he is a profound technical player...but he has the chops to fill that gig. He plays really interesting things.

I am not really a fan of his tone as much as I use to be but he is a solid player for sure. He actually doesn't credit himself as a bass player.

I think pretty much every Rush album has got loads of moments of tasty bass work.

I've just been getting into 'Test For Echo' - one which divides opinion - and that has got some great stuff on.

For me, I adore his Ric tone - not so big on the Wal - and I think his current Jazz tone is immense. The 'Snakes And Arrows Live' album is good for me!
