Scott Carlson of Repulsion

When I first heard this guy, I thought my head was goning to cave in! His tone is some of the best I've heard in Metal. Scott uses an overdriven P bass, and a ampeg amp I believe. If you're a fan of heavy music and haven't heard Repulsion, you owe it to yourself to pick up a copy of their album.

Hahah, "best"? In what sense? I don't think it's exactly the golden tone, but I adore how wonderfully lo-fi the Horrified record is. It's like the aural version of a great zombie splatter flick. For a lot of the tracks on the record, Scott just ran Squier P > orange Boss Distortion pedal > mixing board. Gnarly! Love it!
