I searched, and couldn't find a thread dedicated to one of my favorite bassists from the last 20 years, Face to Face's Scott Shiflett.
It seems like whenever punk or "pop-punk" bassists are brought up, Mike Dirnt and Matt Freeman get a lot of mention, but I've always preferred Scott's playing. Granted, Face to Face never really gained as much mainstream popularity (I mean they only sold a million records...), but I've always liked his lines and fills. Nothing too scorching, but here's a few of my favorites...
