Sergio Vega

I may be a little late to the party, but I just found out that Sergio Vega is playing for the Deftones in the interim. I'm a huge Quicksand fan and have always found Sergio Vega to be melodic, creative, and dangerously underrated. Any other fans in here?

Loved Quicksand, love the Deftones. Shame about Chi...

Always thought Sergio was the perfect bass player for Quicksand.
I'm sure he will fill Chi's void well in The Deftones.

A few years back I was lucky enough to get on the same bill as Rival Schools for some regional dates (Walter's post Quicksand band). He was one of the mellowest people I think I've ever met, seemed like a nice guy.

LOVE sergio vegas styles...PERFECT guy to fill-in for chi (who is top 3 fav bassist) DEFTONES 4EVER

Yeah, Sergio Vega is probably one of my biggest influences along with Eric Avery... Most of what he plays is pretty simple, but awesome. Plus his tone is kick ass.
