That clip took a while to get going, IMO. Sharay Reed is blessed with the greatest thing anyone can have, originality. Being good is a matter of hard work, being original takes inspiration that everyone just does not have.

I was just saying the same thing after I saw Prince dismantle a jazz bass the other night. Nothing like a well built Fender J.

IMO, it's not so much about Jazz basses, it's about finding what works for you, and focusing on the music. IMO, that has been the secret of more than a few great players.
