Shona Tucker Leaves Drive-By Truckers

Anyone have any idea why Shona Tucker left DBT? She really seemed like a very good fit with the other musicians. Perhaps she wanted to pursue a solo career, who knows? At any rate, I wish her good luck. She is a fine bassist.

I got to meet Shona when we opened up for DBT at The Ogden in Denver. She's a class act and a rock solid bassist, I wish her the best.

No idea but props to them all for how it's been handled. I haven't heard anything negative from anyone.

And on the hopeful side, maybe this will open the door to Jason Isbell coming back.

BTW, it's Shonna.

You're correct. Earl Hicks was DBT's first bass player.
