Singer+Solo Bass Players like Seth Horan: Suggestions?

Sign in to disble this ad
Can u suggest me more bass players like Seth Horan?
Obviously I need bass players who mostly perform SOLO bass without a band and SING at the same time...
It would be great for me to listen to them because I also sing and play solo bass on my own.

No solo bass players who sing at the same time??
Bad : No one to get inspiration from.
Good : I am one of the few in the world.

Not sure if you've checked out Lydia, but she has got some groove, vocals and looks. She is all over youtube and here is her myspace link:

He's on myspace - I'd drop him a line and ask him yourself. I have no idea.

There is also Keziah Jones who sometimes plays bass and sings on his live performances..
He normally plays nylon string guitar though...

I dig the style of : Nathan Hughes, Seth Horan, Gonzalo Silva, Les July....
(chordal bass playing mostly) Any similar artists?

wow... major Necropost

Anyway, I've though of doing that kind of thing. I got the idea from a guy I saw on Youtube doing a beatles cover with just bass and vocals.

I've recently started reworking Simple Man by Lynyrd Skynyrd, and written some of my own stuff, but I'm having trouble coming up with original lyrics. I can't write love songs, I'm not political enough to only do protest stuff, really the only time I write good lyrics (or any lyrics that aren't total **** for that matter) are when I start rummaging around in the dark corners of my soul, find my inner psychopath, and write about misanthropy, satanism, and human sacrifice.
