Ok.. I have seen threads for pick players, slap, and multi finger style.....
Are there any famous/great bass players that use just one finger on the right hand?

But I do find I'm starting to use the "Hook" a little more than I used to. And with turning my finger around a quarter twist gives me a nice sort of double bass sound and feel. |

For some things, the one finger technique works great (like steady 1/8th notes IMO). Sometimes I double up and use my forefinger and middle together but do not alternate. Works well too. |

Yep. The politician. Saw a couple of videos of him playing and he's definitely a "hook" player

| | | | I use "The Hook" too. I've tried to get a two finger rolling motion, kinda like maybe Michael Anthony from VH but cant seem to make it work.
