Apparently Paul McCartney is out driving across a America. A bunch of people were calling local radio stations here in St. Louis saying they say Paul driving around downtown and a local restaurant called to confirm that he ate there.
He's driving an '89 Ford Bronco and is only traveling with his traveling secretary. Here's a couple of links to part of the story and some pics of some guys with Paul standing in front of a gas station in central Illinois. http://www.k-hits.com/morningshow/showgram_blarg.aspx http://www.sj-r.com/entertainment/x1...in-Springfield

I just thought it was a really cool story and kind of nice to see someone that famous just traveling around being a regular guy. Especially in this day of media whores.

Boy does that look like a lame radio station...thank God for Satellite Radio, if I never have to listen a zany morning show giving away $100 to the 5th caller again in my life it was well worth the $12.95 a month....

What's Ringo up to anyway?

By starting this thread, you are making his plans to be a regular guy known in a popular forum, thereby reducing his chances, albeit minimally, of having the experience he's seeking. You're reporting this as much as any other media whore would.

Fair play to him, because it must be torture to be recognised anywhere you go in the world. I would hate that.
