I got to see Stone Temple Pilots last night in Pittsburgh, and they were spot on! I must say, Robert DeLeo had one of the BEST bass tones I've ever heard at a live show. The mix was really bass heavy, yet balanced, so you could hear almost every note he played. I recommend seeing them if they come to a town near you. |

so it's a lot of hoo ha about nothing.

Anyways, I've seen STP twice and they do put on a great live show with alot of energy and Robert is an amazing bassist. The type of lines he infuses into a rock band are just sensational. If I'm remembering right he used to use the Sansamp bddi and get some pretty sweet sounds out of it.
But I second the OP thoughts, go see them if they're near you! |

They used to do things kids aren't supposed to do in the woods behind my house. I am sure both of them have forgotten about the numerous "gifts" they left on my lawn.
Amazing how time flies...
