I bought the DVD of those guys then of course PBS ran the concert on the recent pledge drive. It's great to see those guys back together again!

She never was really known as a singer.

Yes, but she could sing. Now she can't.

I've always dug her voice - and I really like the recent Live at the Troubadour CD. Now that's some great Sklar!

I have to say that I thought that JT's voice was off a bit too, but let's be fair it was in the morning so we can cut them both some slack. I did wonder if Lee would have broken out his Frankenbass, but he is now pretty much Mr Dingwall and he makes me want one.

Earlier in the tour he used the Frankenbass for at least a couple of TV appearences, but it's been Dingwall for nall the recent ones. I saw one performance which was just Taylor, King, and Sklar. Very good! Taste and tone perfect for the song and the performance every time.

I met Leland at this year's NAMM show. You'll never meet a nicer, humbler, or funnier guy. Nor will you find a more solid bassist. Leyland really 'Leys' it down......

He uses the double P-pickup Franken bass on the DVD.

Saw Lee in concert with JT and Carol King in Boston last night(awesome concert with everyone in fine voice).

Lee used his Dingwall the entire time. I noticed his EA cab was mic'ed (I'm sure he was using the DI as well). He was HUGE in the mix.

I saw JT and Carol King in Philly the last week and it was surprisingly very good! Vocals were beautiful and Lee Sklar is one of the most tasteful and supporting bassists ever to live. Blue dingwall, great note choice and manages to cover some ground without making himself the center of attention. NOICE!
