And some from previous writers, who even borrowed some stuff from pre-recording days (work songs, spirituals and so on).
My personal gripe is that Zep "borrowed" without any mention of any sources. By contrast, Cream went out of their way to credit the writers, thus, for example, helping out Skip James in his old age. |
