"Soulful Strut" bass tone

Anyone know how to get the sound heard on Young Holt Unlimited's "Soulful Strut"?

I imagine it's a precision with flatwound(Fender?) through an Ampeg B15. Compared to the Jamerson thump, it sounds "bigger" and "blossoms" on the attack. I believe Eldee Young was the bassist on that recording.

Cool tune...didn't know who the bassist was until now.
Like you, I would assume it's a P-bass (really, what else could it have been).
